Let me start off with this: Escape Velocity is quite possibly the most addictive game I have ever played. I couldnt get off the d*** thing! escape velocity takes place in the future, in the era of space age. You start out as a lowly trader, blasting your way around the universe, delivering and picking up goods as you go. But watch out! Alls not fun and games! The future is a dangerous place, abound with space pirates and cutthroats lurking among asteriods and space stations. In addition there are hundreds of "plug-ins" that expand the EV universe and add new ships, enemies etc. I highly reccomend this game but beware! You might find yourself playing it at 3 AM one morning and think, "what am I doing?" ;)
