GamesCivilization III you say? For the mac? Impossible! Think again my friend! Its coming and for the mac! Yes Sid Meier's newest title Civilization III! And we all know, if Sid Meier is behind it its worth buying! Macsoft has officially announced that Civilization III for the mac is coming! The game is in the neighborhood of 85% done so far. Get those credit cards ready mac gamers! The most odvious change in Civilization III is the graphics. The units are much more detailed, right down to the "fidget" animations when they are idle. The terrain absolutely blows you away, and the city screen is extremely improved. The units have been tweaked a bit, for example the settlers sole purpose in life is to build cities while workers dig ditchs, make roads, build irrigation, etc. One of the most promising upgrades is the notification boxes. In the older civilization titles, when a city was rioting or celebrating a box would appear. This could keep the frustrated player clicking ok over and over again. Now, the notification box simply appears above that city, floating on the map without bothering you or your rule.
